Ahead of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr’s meeting with Japanese PM Takaichi Sanae in Tokyo, discussions are intensifying over missile transfers, military coordination and the future role of the First Island Chain. It comes as US and Japanese forces conduct joint exercises on the islands of Ishigaki, Miyako and Yonaguni nearest to Taiwan. Beijing has lashed out at Japan for strengthening its defenses, even as China's Liaoning aircraft carrier embarks on training operations in the Western Pacific. In this episode, we examine the growing Philippines-Japan partnership, China’s reaction and what these developments mean for the security of Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific.

12 Cowboys Compete For The American Dream | Ultimate Cowboy Showdown Back-To-Back Episodes

Top cowboys from across the United States compete to win a herd of cattle, a coveted belt buckle and a lifetime of bragging rights. As they lock horns in a series of grueling challenges, they are judged on their skills, knowledge, grit, and passion. The male and female contestants include ranch owners, ranch managers, ranch hands, horse trainers, and rodeo stars. One by one, the cowboys who don't perform are eliminated by host Trace Adkins and a panel of expert judges. In the end, only one cowboy rides away with the herd.

Episode 1: The Ultimate Cowboy
Twelve cowboys from all over the United States move onto a cattle ranch, where fast friendships are formed and battle lines quickly drawn; Trace Adkins puts the cowboys to the test in a team challenge that will determine who stays and who goes home.

Episode 2: The Weakest Link
The remaining ten cowboys show off their skills in a timed calf-roping challenge; later, a team challenge reveals that some of the contestants lack the experience needed to compete at this level; one cowboy's antics lead to an angry confrontation.

Episode 3: Friendship the Hard Way
With only eight cowboys left, the pressure is on. In an attempt to win immunity from elimination, one cowboy takes the bull by the horns and pays the price. Meanwhile, two enemies finally bury the hatchet and Trace tells two more cowboys to go home.
