1,817 HP Hennessey Venom F5-M Is The World's Most Powerful Manual-Shift Car

➡️ Hennessey has swapped the seven-speed paddle-shift transmission in its Venom F5 for a six-speed manual with a billet aluminium shift gate to create the F5-M, the world's most powerful manual production car.

The F5-M gets a new console to accommodate the carbon and aluminium shift lever, but that's not the only visual difference. Manual cars get a huge Le Mans-style dorsal fin that runs from the roof-mounted hood scoop to the tail.

Hennessey hasn't released any performance figures, though you can be sure it won't be quite as quick as the paddle-shift version. What it does tell us is that it's only building 12 manuals, and that every one of the $2.65 million cars has already been sold.
