BREAKING: Kharg Island HIT By U.S. Bombers; Iran Threatens Gulf Targets | TBN Israel
TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani report on the Israel-Iran and regional war.
IRAN: The United States struck Kharg Island, the key Iranian oil island through which about 90% of Iran’s oil exports pass, according to the report. President Trump said U.S. forces destroyed every military target there, while warning that if Iran interferes with freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, broader oil infrastructure could be next. Yair explains why a blow to Kharg Island puts extreme pressure on Iran’s economy and raises the stakes across the region.
U.S.-ISRAEL CAMPAIGN: The Pentagon says cooperation with Israel is changing the campaign. Senior officials say joint operations are damaging Iran’s missile capabilities, reducing launch tempo, and destroying targets across the country. The report also says the IDF struck more than 150 targets, including ballistic missile storage sites, strategic laboratories, a space research center, and air defense production facilities, while Iran reportedly failed in an attempt to shoot down an Israeli fighter jet.
GULF / HORMUZ: After the strike on Kharg Island, Iran expanded its target bank and threatened oil companies cooperating with the United States. A drone reportedly hit the port in Fujairah in the Emirates, and Tehran warned that strikes on oil infrastructure would lead to Iranian retaliation. Trump also said the Strait of Hormuz will be opened, while pressure grows over shipping, energy, and regional deterrence.
NUCLEAR / TECH: Yair also breaks down the race to locate roughly 450 kilograms of enriched uranium still hidden deep underground in Iran, described in the report as enough material for multiple bombs if it remains on Iranian soil. At the same time, the war is expanding into the tech arena, with cloud infrastructure and regional data centers increasingly tied to the broader conflict.
NORTH / PROXIES: Israel is reinforcing forces in the north as officials prepare for a prolonged campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The report says Israel is planning a significant expansion of ground operations south of the Litani, while the Houthis in Yemen are also signaling they are ready to enter the fight on Iran’s side.
