Elon Musk breaks Forbes wealth record

According to Forbes Magazine, Elon Musk is the first person in history to have a net worth of more than $US400 billion, which translates to $623 billion.
 
It's not just Musk's interest in Tesla, xAI, or X the social media site but now SpaceX - with recent capital raisings valuing that business alone at $US350 billion.

Since Donald Trump's election, Mr Musk's Tesla shares have boosted his wealth by more than $US100 billion.

In an Australian context, $623 billion would buy all of the Commonwealth Bank, BHP, CSL, plus Medibank Private.

Even then, he would still have a billion or so left.
