The First Las Vegas Grand Prix was held in 2023. Upfront, drivers weren’t fans, and citizens of Las Vegas complained about the endless construction work. F1 took a huge risk and decided to buy land and build a permanent pit and accommodation building—something that hasn’t been done anywhere else in the world. The F1’s first Mega Project worth $500 Million.

After the 2023 race, drivers concluded that the track was better than expected, even though it wasn’t without errors. Some major changes were needed to raise the bar for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2024.
