Gavin Newsom Slams Trump at Politico Policy Summit

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) sat down for a discussion on his state's government policies with Politico's California Editorial Director Chris Cadelago. The governor laid out his argument for what he sees as threats from the Trump administration. Those threats include actions to mobilize the National Guard to U.S. cities. He also talked about the efforts to redraw the state's U.S. Congressional district map.
