Lawyers and veterans speak out against Trump's National Guard threat | FULL

Veterans, attorneys, and activists gathered in Chicago on Monday morning to denounce former President Trump’s threat to deploy federal troops and ICE agents to the city.

Speakers from About Face: Veterans Against the War and the National Lawyers Guild called the move unconstitutional, immoral, and a violation of federal law.

They urged National Guard members to refuse illegal orders and called on Governor Pritzker to back his words with action by protecting service members who resist.
