LIVE UPDATES: US attacks Iran with Israel forces, Death toll reaches 40, no US casualties

President Donald Trump says the United States has begun "major combat operations" in Iran. The President is expected to address the nation this morning. The US Navy strikes Iran with combined forces with the Israeli military. President Trump has called for regime change in Iran, and called on the people there in Tehran and across the country to rise up against their leaders, government and their Supreme Leader and make the government and country theirs in his words.

The opening strikes appeared to target the home to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the capital city of Tehran. Fire and smoke can be seen in the Iranian capital across the city.
