IRAN: Day 12 of the Lion’s Roar war opened with more explosions in Tehran as Israel continued deep strikes and real-time prevention operations across Iran. The IDF says more than 80% of Iran’s launch capabilities toward Israel have already been destroyed, with the goal of pushing that figure even higher in the coming days. Israeli officials say the purpose is not only to destroy launchers, but to reduce the fire threat enough to restore normal life on Israel’s home front.

LEBANON AND SYRIA: The fighting did not stop at Iran. In Beirut, targets were struck again, and the IDF says it completed another wave of strikes in Dahiyeh against Hezbollah headquarters and weapons sites. On the ground, the 36th Division continues operations in southern Lebanon, while Golani forces are being shifted north. At the same time, pressure is also rising on Hezbollah from the Syria-Lebanon border as the wider regional axis shows more signs of strain.

U.S. AND HORMUZ: The American role is intensifying. B-1 bombers took off from Britain on a shorter route toward Iran, signaling faster repeat strike capability and more sustained pressure. CENTCOM said U.S. forces attacked in Iran nearly every hour and from different directions, while also targeting production and development compounds. The U.S. military also says it destroyed 16 Iranian minelayers near the Strait of Hormuz as Washington warned that any attempt to disrupt shipping or stop oil flows would trigger overwhelming force.

GULF AND GLOBAL ECONOMY: Iran’s attacks are no longer focused only on Israel. Drones reportedly crashed near Dubai airport, commercial vessels were hit near Hormuz, and Tehran also threatened banks and economic institutions linked to the United States and Israel. At the same time, Iran continues moving its own oil to China through the strait, even as the world debates emergency reserve releases and braces for more pressure on energy markets.

POLITICS: Israeli officials say there is no time limit on the war and no immediate sign that Washington is preparing to stop it. In Tehran, the regime is projecting both threats and confusion, with reports of hidden leadership, growing internal disorder, and continuing fear of unrest in the streets. The central question now is whether this is still an attrition campaign—or the beginning of the decision phase.
