BREAKING: Iran leaves Pakistan before US arrival

Iran's foreign minister has left Islamabad, Pakistan without meeting with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the Associated Press and Reuters report.

While reports indicated Witkoff and Kushner may have been en route ahead of Iran's exit, President Donald Trump told Fox News Channel that he had cancelled the trip for his envoys.

The Iranian foreign minister, who has been a chief negotiator in any peace talks, said he would be traveling to Russia and Oman.
