A direct terror threat against President Donald Trump is now raising major questions inside the United States: pro-Palestinian activists — or something more organized? At the same time, Trump is moving aggressively against Iran’s leverage in the Middle East.

The United States has closed a massive oil deal with Venezuela involving 65 billion barrels of proven reserves, a move designed to reduce dependence on the Strait of Hormuz and break Iran’s ability to blackmail the global economy through oil supply. Tehran tried to weaponize Hormuz. Now Washington is building a way around it.

The United States has launched “Operation Economic Outcast” against Iran, targeting Tehran’s financial lifelines around the world. A bank branch in the United Arab Emirates is now under urgent review after allegations that it helped move billions of dollars through networks connected to Iran’s shadow banking system, the Quds Force, and Tehran-backed actors.

Iran’s oil exports have reportedly collapsed by 80 percent compared with last August, while Iran’s president admitted that trade volume has fallen by as much as 35 percent. Behind the scenes, a hard core of generals and clerics is preparing for a long confrontation while trying to prevent unrest inside Iran.

The confrontation between Israel and Erdogan is escalating. Turkey’s neo-Ottoman “Blue Homeland” strategy is expanding across the eastern Mediterranean, Syria, and the Horn of Africa. Israel’s actions in Syria, its recognition of Somaliland, and tensions in the Mediterranean are raising the question: are Israel and Turkey heading toward a military clash?

Hezbollah is trapped on the Ali Taher ridge, with terrorists stuck underground under IDF siege. Attempts to convince Hezbollah to withdraw have failed, and the Lebanese army is still resisting key elements of disarmament. Italy has offered to help verify Hezbollah’s dismantling in southern Lebanon, but without full disarmament, the arrangement cannot work.

The IDF eliminated Hani Abd al-Hai Fakhri Mazloum, a Nukhba platoon commander, and Hassan Zidan Hassan Deiri, a Hamas sniper. Both were involved in weapons supply for Hamas terrorists and were working to rebuild the organization’s capabilities while violating the ceasefire.

The Shin Bet confirmed a significant threat against the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by Iranian elements, leading to his urgent evacuation.
