A dramatic night of explosions shook southern Iran and areas near the Bushehr nuclear reactor as the United States unleashed another wave of strikes against Revolutionary Guards targets. According to U.S. Central Command, American forces struck approximately 140 military targets in Iran using precision weapons launched from fighter jets, drones, and naval vessels. More than 300 targets have reportedly been struck over the last three nights.

The Revolutionary Guards announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz “until further notice,” while a merchant vessel was hit and its crew was forced to abandon ship. Iran claims it controls the passage. The United States says ship traffic continues — and is now proving that it will not allow Tehran to hold the world’s most important shipping lane hostage.

Two American aircraft carriers — the USS Abraham Lincoln and the USS George H.W. Bush — have entered the Gulf of Oman and are positioned off Iran’s coast. More than 20 American warships are now operating in the region as Washington prepares for the possible renewal of the naval blockade on Iran. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth warned: “Iran made a bad decision. Now it will pay.”

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee revealed that Iran planned to assassinate President Donald Trump during his visit to Ankara for the NATO summit — and that Israeli intelligence discovered the plot and passed the warning to the United States. Trump responded with a chilling threat: if Iran attempts to assassinate him, the U.S. military is ready to completely destroy and demolish all areas of Iran.

Satellite images reveal what Iran tried to hide underground — repair work and renewed digging around damaged nuclear and military infrastructure. Washington is demanding access to the enriched uranium buried beneath destroyed sites, while Iran continues to send two different messages: one behind closed doors, and another to the public.

Iran is threatening Israel, attacking American bases across the region, and trying to use Hormuz as a weapon. At the same time, Israel continues operations in Gaza and Lebanon, targeting Hamas and pushing back against Hezbollah. The question now is whether this is still pressure for a deal — or whether the campaign against the Revolutionary Guards is becoming an open war.
