TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani reports on the Israel-Iran and regional war.

IRAN: The United States is reinforcing its military posture in the Middle East as talks with Iran open in Pakistan amid major gaps between the sides. Yair reports that the central issue is Iran’s frozen assets, with Tehran under growing pressure and American officials warning that if negotiations fail, fighting could resume. He also details new reports that Iran is fortifying the Isfahan nuclear facility and that thousands of ballistic missiles may still remain buried underground.

HORMUZ: In a dramatic development, two American destroyers passed through the Strait of Hormuz without Iranian approval for the first time since the war began. CENTCOM said the movement was part of a broader mission to shape the conditions for clearing naval mines from the strait. Yair explains that one major obstacle remains Iran’s own minefield, which, according to the report, Tehran itself cannot fully locate and clear.

LEBANON: The IDF says more than 180 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated in the “Eternal Darkness” strike, with about 100 targets hit across three areas. In Beirut, the IDF struck Hezbollah military infrastructure including intelligence, Radwan Force, and missile unit headquarters. In southern Lebanon, five divisions continue operating, and Yair reports that Bint Jbeil is now surrounded from multiple directions as the IDF tightens the siege on one of Hezbollah’s largest strongholds near the border.

DIPLOMACY: Direct talks between Israel and Lebanon are expected this week in Washington, as Beirut reportedly seeks a ceasefire gesture from Israel. At the same time, Iran is sending mixed messages on Lebanon, with one regime-linked source warning that attacks on Beirut and Dahiyeh would stop negotiations, while other voices speak about implementing a ceasefire. Israel has also rejected French involvement in the talks, arguing Paris is not acting as a fair mediator.

REGION: Yair also covers warnings from American intelligence that China may try to move air defense systems to Iran through third countries, a claim denied by Beijing. Meanwhile, the widening regional picture shows military buildup, diplomatic friction, and rising concern that the ceasefire changed the nature of the war, but did not truly end it.
