BREAKING: US Park Police officer shot in DC, suspects at large

We are learning about a breaking news story tonight after a member of the United States Park Police was shot Monday in Southeast Washington, D.C. According to the D.C. Police Union, the incident occurred in the 5000 block of Queens Stroll Place SE. Officials say the officer was transported to a nearby hospital, initially in critical condition. We are also getting updates from our partners at FOX 5 DC as local police issue multiple road closures in connection with what is being called an ongoing investigation. Director of the FBI, Kash Patel, offered his thoughts and prayers on social media in the moments after the incident was reported.
