Germany Bans Muslim Interaktiv Over Anti-Democracy, Anti-Israel Extremism Allegations

Germany’s Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt announces the ban on Muslim Interaktiv, accusing the group of rejecting democracy and denying Israel’s right to exist. Police raided seven sites in Hamburg where the association was founded. Dobrindt says the group called for a caliphate and violated Germany’s constitutional order. Investigations also target affiliated groups Generation Islam and Reality Islam as part of a wider crackdown on radicalization.
