Leonid and Culture Shock continue hitchhiking across Cuba to cover the entire island from west to east and see how ordinary Cubans live in the countryside, in small towns and villages. This time, he rode a horse, a passenger truck, an ancient Soviet Moskvitch car and a homemade vehicle to reach the cities of Cienfuegos and Trinidad.
Along the way, he visited Cuban panel houses and saw how people live in the local residential neighborhoods, among the palm trees. We chatted with the guys at the entryway, visited the locals' apartments to see what they looked like. Also, there was a total blackout all over Cuba and we had to travel in complete darkness. Plus, it was nearly impossible to find food in each town, also due to the power outage. In the end, Leonid was once again stuck at night in some remote village totally starving. Watch this video to see how it ended.
