Our main stories tonight:
- Reports are emerging that Ukraine has agreed to slash its peacetime army to 800,000 troops. In fact, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Kyiv is ready to move forward with the U.S.-backed peace plan, barring some “sensitive points”.

- European leaders are sitting uneasily over the influence Russia could gain through any potential agreement. The so-called Coalition of the Willing met on Tuesday, with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski again warning that no decision should be made about Europe, without Europe.

- The European Union’s top court has ruled that Poland – and other member states – must recognize same-sex marriages registered anywhere across the bloc. The decision comes after officials refused to formalize the marriage of a Polish couple who wed in Germany and then returned to their homeland.
