President Trump suggests other countries may provide military support to reopen Strait of Hormuz: The president posted, “Many Countries, especially those who are affected by Iran’s attempted closure of the Hormuz Strait, will be sending War Ships, in conjunction with the United States of America, to keep the Strait open and safe.” It was the first time Trump has publicly suggested the U.S. may not be able to reopen the waterway on its own, and without international support.

Trump is also expected to participate in a signing ceremony with Vice President JD Vance on Monday at 3:30 pm ET.
