Mexican cartel leader killed in military operation, violence erupts across country

We are getting the latest information this Sunday as the Mexican army reportedly kills the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. According to the Mexican government, Oseguera Cervantes, "El Mencho," was wounded during a capture operation and died while being flown to Mexico City. In a post on social media, US State Department Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau described Oseguera’s death as a “great development for Mexico, the US, Latin America, and the world.”
