‘Not the answer’: America warned against electing more radical Democratic Socialists

Political commentator Lucy Zelic says the sharp rise in Democratic Socialists in America is not the answer to make the country stronger.

“Everyone thinks in the current modern era, like a Zohran Mamdani, they were just failed socialist experiments. We can do it better,” Ms Zelic told News24 host Danica De Giorgio.

“They’re looking to attack the middle class, to wipe out all concepts of wealth.

“The answer is not to elect more radicals who within a party themselves have had a real, I think, a devasting issue of a crisis of identity.”
