US auto industry reportedly asked to aid military weapons production

We are now learning that the Trump administration could be turning to automakers to ramp up weapons production. New reporting from The Wall Street Journal says senior defense officials have discussed producing weapons with top executives from several companies. "The Department of War is committed to rapidly expanding the defense industrial base by leveraging all available commercial solutions and technologies to ensure our warfighters maintain a decisive advantage," a Pentagon Official also told FOX Business.
