Russian oil causes relations between the U.S. and India to strain

On Monday, President Donald Trump announced a "substantial" increase in tariffs on India. He justified his decision by accusing India of supporting the "Russian war machine." LiveNOW’s Andrew Craft is learning the latest from RADM (Ret.) Mark Montgomery.

"India is not only buying massive amounts of Russian Oil, they are then, for much of the Oil purchased, selling it on the Open Market for big profits," Trump wrote on TRUTH Social. "They don’t care how many people in Ukraine are being killed by the Russian War Machine. Because of this, I will be substantially raising the Tariff paid by India to the USA. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!"

Trump announced last week that the U.S. would impose 25% tariffs on imports from India.
