The 2025 Ferrari Vicenza: Ferrari's First Electric Supercar!
The latest 'opera' from the exotic Italian automaker was unveiled with the amusing moniker Ferrari 12Cilindri. The Type F167, a two-seater front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer made by the Italian sports car manufacturer, was born to thrill with its V12 engine—6.5 liters and 830 horsepower without turbos or hybrid assistance—and is obviously a tribute to the legendary Grand Tourers of the 1950s and 1960s.
Although they have stated their intention to manufacture V12 engines until its illegality, it is evident that they are already planning for an electrified future with models like as the 296 and SF90, which are plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Another impending Ferrari, this one all electric, might likely cost over $500,000 soon. A prototype with a hot hatchback style reminiscent of Purosangue with hilariously phony exhaust tips was recently seen, but we have our doubts that Prancing Horse fans would love the design once the disguise is off.
On the other hand, an electric vehicle (EV) that may replace the Purosangue as Ferrari's next crossover is the answer that someone residing in the creative domain of digital automobile content developers has offered in the parallel universes of vehicular CGI. While this is all just conjecture at this point, the wonderful people over at car.design.trends have recently drawn our attention to a perhaps groundbreaking concept for a new kind of Ferrari - a coupe-SUV with a single door and an aggressive stance.
The idea originated with Cheeheon Lee, a student at Korea National University of Arts who is well-known online as chee honey. Inspired by aerodynamic components that 'penetrate' the body—like the rear lateral vents that channel wind from behind the taillights and out the back—he created the Ferrari Vicenza design concept.
I can assure you that this model is fully electric. That is why you won't see any large intakes up front and no exhausts down back. The pixel artist took care to show off his Ferrari Vicenza on dry, snowy, and even rocky ground, so it's clear it was meant to be driven in all weather. Regrettably, the author refrains from describing the electric engine that would reside behind the lengthy hood and refrains from including any illustrations of the cockpit.
Sure, it could be more stylish and modern than Ferrari's plans for the electric vehicle revolution. At this price point, any comment from critics would be welcome, but until then, word on the street is that the Purosangue is the most entertaining SUV ever, with four doors and an engine and handling that are completely unique. Would you park a Purosangue next to this fictional Vicenza coupe-SUV, if it were to exist?
