Eastern Ukraine Is Not What We Expected

Earlier this year, my good friend Joe and I travelled from the UK to Ukraine. Given the ongoing Russian invasion, it was certainly not the safest journey to undertake, but we felt a strong desire to see the real Ukraine for ourselves and document the truth of what is happening there. During our time in the country, we witnessed both the immense hardship people faced and the incredible resilience with which they endured it. These experiences profoundly shaped our perspectives on the war. We hope that what we’ve documented will help others gain a deeper understanding of the situation and the people living through it.
