US, Mexico team up at border to disrupt cartel operations | Bradley on the Border

In this episode of "Bradley on the Border," Bradley is down in El Paso, Texas, where U.S. and Mexican forces teamed up for a rapid-response border security operation. The binational exercise, led by the U.S. Border Patrol’s El Paso sector, included multiple U.S. federal agencies, and on the Mexican side, units from the National Guard and Army. The exercise included a CBP helicopter insertion and a coordinated patrol by the Mexican military across the border in Ciudad Juárez.

This comes just weeks after the U.S. officially designated the Juárez Cartel — the cartel operating directly across the border from El Paso — as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.” Jesse Muñoz, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection sector chief in El Paso, told Bradley federal officials are now sending a message that those caught assisting criminal organizations will be dealt with more severely, and the goal is 100% prosecution rates.
