Royals quietly brace for possible King Charles abdication

UK barrister and broadcaster Andrew Eborn weighs in on revelations of King Charles’ secret abdication plan.

“People are saying, look, just in case, it’s worth having these plans in place. This is what the palace like to do, they make sure that you plan all these things,” Mr Eborn told Sky News Digital Reporter Gabriella Power.

“All they’re doing is planning this; the Royal Family themselves, however, are not really fond of abdication.

“A lot of people are saying, look, this is a good thing to consider, but there’s obviously no formal announcement … they’re planning behind the scenes what might happen should the King decide this is the route he wants to go down.”
